Can I order online and pick up at your new location in Winnipeg?
Yes!. Orders placed online for local pickup can be picked up at our location at 1550 King Edward Street.
Can I use my gift card purchased online at your new location in Winnipeg?
Yes you can!
What is your fabric sold by?
All fabric is sold by the 1/2 metre or in pre-cut pieces. We cannot cut Fat Quarters or Fat Halves to order.
I thought "x" fabric was $15 per metre, but when I selected a 1 metre cut the price changed to $30. Can I get the $15/metre price?
None of our prices are listed as a per metre price. Our custom fabrics are sold in pre-cut pieces, and the price defaults as the price of the smallest available piece. To get the cost of a metre, select the 1 metre cut from the drop down list. The price will change accordingly. Note for mobile users, the price of the 1 metre cut might not change until you place it in your cart.
Can 1 metre of knit ship lettermail?
Unfortunately it doesn't fit lettermail. We can only ship up to 2 metres of quilting cotton, 2 - 100 packs of Kam snaps or 1/2 metre of knit lettermail. Please note lettermail shipping does not have tracking and you must understand there is risk involved. If you want tracking please select our flat rate shipping. We are not responsible for any damage if lettermail is selected.
Why is some fabric sold in pre-cut pieces?
Our custom printed fabrics come on huge rolls. For storage and inventory purposes, it is all pre-cut before it is made available for retail sale.
How do pre-orders work?
We run pre-orders for custom fabric about 4-5 times a year. Our digital fabrics have a 8-12 week processing time, and our screen printed fabrics have a 10-16 week processing time. Once the pre-order is closed, the start of the processing time begins. Pre-orders are cut, packed and shipped to you and then the extras are put up for retail!
I placed my order 20 minutes ago, why hasn't it shipped yet?
Unlike other companies, we do not mark your order as shipped until it is packed up and a label is printed. Truth be told, the mail truck only picks up the mail once per weekday, at 2:00 PM. So whether your order is packed at 2:45PM on Friday, or 1:45PM on the following Tuesday it all goes on the mail truck at the same time!
Our business hours are Tuesday - Friday 10 am to 5 pm. Our standard processing time is 3-5 business days, but we make every effort to have your order shipped to you as soon as possible! If processing times are longer due to high order volume we will let you know on the front page of our website as well as in your confirmation email.
Can I use a discount code on an order I just placed yesterday?
Our discount codes cannot be used retroactively. They are for new orders only, and they MUST be used at checkout to apply.
I just signed up for your Snob Rewards? Can I get points added to my account for all my previous orders?
No, you cannot. We do not issues points for any previous orders. But we are happy you are now part of our rewards program! Thank you for joining.
Can I use a discount code and rewards points together?
Only one code per order, including rewards points redeemed for discount codes.
Can I get my fabric cut into two different pieces?
All fabrics are cut continuous unless they are pre-cut pieces. We do not allow sub-cuts on the same order. We understand that some people want to order with their friends, because of our low price flat rate shipping, we will combine ship orders for an extra $7.50 per person. Without this shipping paid, we cannot allow sub-cuts.
